The works exhibited in this show curated by Mikulas Nevan, were selected from a body of work created over span of three years (between 2012 and 2015).
Inspired by the story of the people of Bezidu Nou – a small village located in Mures county, Transylvania whose lives were radically changed forever as a result of a series of events (starting at sometime in 1988) – a people forced to flee due to impending extinction due to the construction of a dam above their houses and land.
Sandor ties to capture the pain caused through the devastation, disillusion, destitution, and desolation of a people, including the decimation of their culture and way of life by actions driven by human desire for power and control.
